A blank mind

I hail from a state that finds space in a newspaper or channel only after terror attacks or natural calamities rather Act of God, as taught by one of my recent favourite Hindi movie. Belonging to a terrorism and extremism infested state like Assam, where the rate of development has always been subjected to rigorous delays, there are a handful of things one can take pride in. And speaking simple yet correct English is just one of them. It would be wrong or appropriately unjustified to claim that we North Easterns have the best of English in the country but some veracity still underlies the statement, which I am sure most will agree.  However, for the first time in my twenty-four years this fact, it feels is belying me. With a pledge of impressing my bf against his banters and coaxes, I finally convinced my motor senses of coercing my lazy hands to type on the keypad and scribble something crisp and worth readable. But alas! To my utter chagrin, all that my brain could direct me in the past one and half hour is to impassively gaze at the blank screen of the Ms Word 2010 document and ponder what to start with. And far from an remarkable write-up, I am just having to wrap up here with a poetasting piece because the silent ticking of my digital clock...all the way from Thailand make me realize that its nearing dawn and time that I hit the bed.  So….dasvidanya!!
